Ok, when I found out that Goldfrapp were releasing a new album, I just couldn't wait to get my hands on it. Well, now that I have heard it a couple of times, I can honestly say I am quite disappointed. All the songs are sooo boring that you just can't sit through the whole thing. Even her voice just doesn't come out right. I may be wrong (and I wish I am wrong because I believe Goldfrapp are fUcKiNg amazing!) but this totally sucks... I regretfully have to agree, I do not enjoy this album much at all. I loved Felt Mountain, and of course their more danceable stuff, but this isn't even a happy medium, it's pretty boring
I love the whole thing... it's lush and it has this nostalgic kinda dreamy quality to it. Alisons voice sounds so warm and immediate. My favs are Eat Yourself, Monster Love, Little Bird and Cologne Cerrone Houdini. So summery too...
