Finally, a new band I like! And it's all thanks to my friend .tsouk who just came back from Japan and was carrying this little gem hidden in his hard drive. Capsule (カプセル) are a Shibuya-kei group, consisting of vocalist Toshiko Koshijima and producer Yasutaka Nakata. Most of the songs in the album are in English with some in Japanese. To get a taste of their music, check out the YouTube video below. Kawaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!

Ok, when I found out that Goldfrapp were releasing a new album, I just couldn't wait to get my hands on it. Well, now that I have heard it a couple of times, I can honestly say I am quite disappointed. All the songs are sooo boring that you just can't sit through the whole thing. Even her voice just doesn't come out right. I may be wrong (and I wish I am wrong because I believe Goldfrapp are fUcKiNg amazing!) but this totally sucks... Awaiting your opinions then...

Well, it was my birthday yesterday and a very cool friend of mine gave me this CD as a present. It is an album of cover versions by Mark Ronson, a very well known DJ. This is his second album released on April 2007. I decided to post it when I realised that I can't stop listening to it!

Mikro is a band based in Greece. Formed in 1998 and named after the Greek word micro used in metric measuring systems, they are by far the best electro pop band in Greece at the mo. Their songs have been featured in films as well as in ads. This is a collection of their best songs published in 2004. Now, although many of their songs are instrumental, some are in Greek but that doesn't mean this is not worth your bandwidth. Their music is just to die for! So c'mon, be a bit more international and get this. You can thank me later...

One of my favorite bands, Raining Pleasure have always made me wonder about the duality of their name: is it raining pleasure or is it the pleasure of raining? Having shared festival stages with The Cure, The Pixies, The Dandy Warhols and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, I think this is a band you need to know. Flood: (Coming of A) Great Quantity of Water is their second and best album so far. A bit old (2001) but still worth listening to. If you don't believe me have a go at the music video of Fake, the album's biggest hit.

This is the new album by Grand National, one of the best experimental pop bands London has produced for, oh, so long. This album is not yet available to download, since the worldwide physical release is September 10th 2007. Fuck, even the worldwide digital release is in two weeks (June 18th 2007)!
