Coming from Glasgow in Scotland, Texas is one of my all time favorite bands! Apart from their music (obviously), there are two things I like about them:
1- They took their name from the 1984 Wim Wenders movie Paris, Texas.
2- Sharleen Spiteri, the lead singer, has a Scottish accent that kicks ass!
This is their greatest hits album which reached #1 in the UK charts and became 6x platinum. But apart from this one, you should definitely listen to more of their music...
